Wrentham Elementary Playground Project  


Over $3000.00   raised! 

Grade 1 and Grade 3 tied for first place and will be having an extra recess with Dr. Cameron! 

Please support our playground fundraising initiative by supporting events that benefit our very own Dancing with the Wrentham Stars dancer- Dr. Allan Cameron!

      The total cost for the playground project will be approximately $250, 000

Where: Gibbons Gym

Cost: $5.00 per person/$20.00 per family (Checks to be made out to Wrentham Community Events, Inc.)

All proceeds will benefit Dr. Cameron in Dancing with the Wrentham Stars for the Delaney School Playground.

What is it?    
A Delaney School character building Fun run being held to raise money for the playground.  All grades PreK -3 will participate. 

When:  Wednesday March 23rd  Each Grade has a time slot during the school day! 

Where:  Gibbons Gym

How money is raised:  Pledge based sponsorship. Information will be sent home soon. ALL students will participate regardless of pledging.

Mrs. Richardson and Mrs. Scollins wish to send their appreciation to the anonymous donor of the clothing that was left during the book fair Wednesday. They are beyond grateful and excited.

2016-2017 Kindergarten options will be Full or Half Day.
Transitional Kindergarten will not be an option.

Kindergarten Alternatives Evening     
Tuesday, April 5, 2016                   6-7 p.m.  
Vogel Auditorium

Program alternatives will be explained.

Option 1:  Half-day Kindergarten:   
Children attend school for 2 ½ hours from 8:20-11:10

Option 2:  Full-day Kindergarten:   
Children attend a regular school day from 8:20-2:40
Full-day kindergarten will be tuition based

Applicants will be chosen by lottery if numbers exceed available space in the full day programs.

Please support Superintendent, Dr. Cameron as he dances his way to (hopefully) winning 2016 Dancing with the Stars and helping us achieve our goal for a new state-of-the-art playground that will be accessible for all our children!

What is School Committee?

The Wrentham School Committee is responsible for setting Policies for the District and approving the District Budget on an annual basis.  The School Committee is responsible for hiring and supervising the Superintendent of the Wrentham Public Schools.  In private business terms, the School Committee is the Board of Directors of the District and the day-to-day operations of the District are operated by the Superintendent and his Administrative team.  The Committee consists of 5 Members, each elected for staggered 3 year terms in the annual April Town elections.
