Another busy week is finishing in
Delaney. The students are working hard in their classrooms on
challenging objectives set by their teachers to maximize learning. Here are some of the highlights.
Positive referrals: The following student demonstrated the Core
Values of respect and collaboration when including a peer in a football game at recess, resulting
in a touchdown!
The Wrentham Food Pantry is
accepting non-perishable donations in the new bins in each lobby and the wagon
in the after school dismissal area.

Senator Ross was in school this week reading to several classes!
In the interest of keeping
our children safe, please remember that students may not be dropped off prior
to 8:10 as there is no supervision.
Family dogs saying good-bye to their kids!
Please do not park in the fire lanes in school even for a brief minute. This is an important safety issue for all children and our school community.
Delaney welcomed many special guests on Wednesday. Thank you to the PTO
volunteers who helped make their visit special.

Day was a big success with lots of huge smiles evident! Another huge thank you to our PTO who sent volunteers to assist with photo day!
The Library project is well underway. This is a
massive project and many books are being sorted and evaluated. Some even need
to disappear for inappropriateness! Mrs.
Arnold and Mrs. Lilja are working with volunteers on this enormous effort.
Destination Imagination Update and Reminder!
Teams for this year's DI season are still forming. The deadline is next week, Friday, October
31. It's not too late to get
involved! There is a team of 3rd graders
looking for more students. This is a
mixed gender team, with a seasoned Team Manager and a new to DI assistant. They will need strong parental support. There is also a 4th grader and 5th grader
looking to join teams. Adult volunteers
are needed for team managers. Teams are
capped at seven students, please let Mrs. DeVore know if you have an interest
in joining DI. Please visit the
