REWARDS and RECYCLING PROGRAMS: There
are many ways to help the PTO during your everyday activities! Our Reward
Programs are detailed below. Please register, clip, donate or help out in any
way you can!
Box Tops and Labels for Education are an easy way to earn cash for our school. Box tops are worth 10 cents each and are located on hundreds of products. Once the box tops are submitted the school receives a check. Box Tops are submitted twice a year: November 2, 2015 and March 1, 2016. Please feel free to use the collection sheets in the attached PDF to help you keep on clipping. Visit www.boxtopsforeducation.com for participating products and additional information. Labels for Education do not expire and there is no deadline to submit them. They are collected throughout the school year and submitted around April. The school earns points that can be redeemed for items available through a catalog. Visit www.Labelsforeducation.com for a list of participating items. Collection boxes are in the Delaney Cafeteria, Annex entryway, Roderick office and at the Fiske Library. You can also send box tops/labels in to your child’s classroom teacher.
DID YOU KNOW? We meet monthly to clip and organize box
tops and labels for education for submission. Please join the “Clippers” at the
Wrentham Senior Center from 9am-11am once a month. It is an easy way to help
your child’s school with very little commitment. “Clippers” Meeting
Dates: October 14th, November 18th & December 16th.
ROCK TO THE TOP!

who will spin the hits! NOTE: Please label collection bags with your child’s grade! AND

Bay
State Textiles: For those of you who do not know, we have partnered with
Bay State Textiles for an ongoing textile recycling fundraiser. There is a
large recycling bin in the parking lot by the Janelli Annex. We generate a
rebate of $100 per ton of textiles collected and this goes into the playground
fund. Clothing, shoes, linens, stuffed animals as well as many more items can
be recycled in the bin. Visit www.baystatetextiles.com to see a detailed list of what can be
recycled.
Color Cycle: We are participating in the Crayola Color Cycle program this school year. This is a program that allows students to turn dried out markers into fuel. Crayola will recycle any brand marker, including dry erase markers and highlighters. The program is simple. We collect the markers and send them to Crayola. There is a box to drop off dried out markers by the Delaney cafeteria and in the Janelli Annex lobby . To learn more about the Crayola Color Cycle program visit: http://www.crayola.com/colorcycle.aspx
Crayons
for Cancer: This year we are collecting used crayons to be recycled for Crayons
for Cancer which raises funds for kids currently battling with cancer by
melting used crayons down into fun shapes and selling them in order to make
money for kids with cancer. Collection bins are located by the Delaney
cafeteria and in the Janelli Annex lobby. 100% of the proceeds support children's
hospitals oncology units, including Hasbro Children's Hospital. Crayons for
Cancer proceeds also fill “Treasure Chests” where young patients go to choose
prizes after enduring tough chemo/radiation treatments and/or blood tests. For
more information, please visit: http://www.crayonsforcancer.org/
The successful Trex program is
returning to Wrentham Public Schools
this year! When you donate your unwanted plastic materials to Trex, not only
are you helping to keep thousands of pounds of waste out of landfills, you're
also helping us to win awards/prizes for our
school. We have won 2 Trex benches in years past. Let’s do it again! Donation
boxes are located in the Delaney cafeteria entry way. Items that can be donated
are: grocery bags, bread bags, case overwrap, dry
cleaning bags, newspaper sleeves, ice bags, wood pellet bags, ziplock &
other re-sealable bags, produce bags, bubble wrap, salt bags, and cereal bags. PLEASE: Write the total number of bags on the outside bag before you
place them in the collection bin at school! All materials must be clean, dry
and free of food residue http://www.trex.com/recycling/recycling-programs/
